Welsh bishops and theologians meet CITI staff and students

Visit Four visitors from the Church in Wales, including two bishops, were guests at the Church of Ireland Theological Institute recently when they met members of the staff and students to discuss the programme for ordination training at CITI.

The four visitors joined staff at students at the institute in the chapel and at meals during their two day visits.

The Right Revd Andrew John has been Bishop of Bangor since 2008 and is a former Archdeacon of Cardigan (2006–2008).

The Revd Professor Canon Leslie Frances is Canon Theologian of Bangor Cathedral and Professor of Religions and Education, Warwick University.

The Right Revd John Wyn Evans is Bishop of St Davids since 2008 and is a former Dean of Saint David’s Cathedral (1994–2008).

Canon Dennis Wight is the Bishop’s Chaplain and Diocesan Warden of Ordinands in the Diocese of Saint Davids, and Vicar of Dale and St Bride’s with Marloes.
