The Church of Ireland Theological Institute hosted a day seminar on 6th November with the theme of Church Planting.

The speaker was the Revd Ric Thorpe, who is the Vicar of St Paul’s, Shadwell, tutor in church planting at St Mellitus College, and the Bishop of London’s advisor for church planting.

35 people from the Church of Ireland and the Methodist Church in Ireland attended and found the day to be informative and challenging.

The attendees represented a wide range of church tradition and geographical area. It is hoped that a further course in Church Planting will be run next year by the Institute in conjunction with St Mellitus.
